Age is Decreasing In Women's Golf

Female golfers get younger and younger as Lydia Ko just made headlines by being the youngest female to win a LPGA event. Ko, 15, broke a record set by Lexi Thompson that had only been standing for eleven months.

Garcia Gets Closer to the Cup

Golfer Sergio Garcia received his first win at the PGA Tour this past month. Although being delayed a day due to excessive rain, Garcia came out on top, getting one step closer to Europe's Ryder Cup.

Henry wins Reno-Tahoe Open for 2nd PGA Tour title


 J.J. Henry thought he was overdue.

The 37-year-old Henry played in 176 tournaments on the PGA Tour before he claimed his first victory at the 2006 Buick Open and had played in another 178 events without winning.

Jaidee withdraws from Firestone


Thongchai Jaidee of Thailand has withdrawn from the Bridgestone Invitational because of a sprained ankle.
Jaidee, who won the Wales Open in early June to qualify for this World Golf Championship, opened with a 73. Tournament officials say he appeared to step in a hole walking off the ninth green in the middle of the opening round.

Romero leads Noh at Reno-Tahoe Open; Daly in hunt


 Andres Romero was confused by the scoreboard, and Seung-Yul Noh didn't even expect to play this week.

Hallberg headed into this week's 3M Championship fresh off a second-place finish at last week's Senior British Open, his best performance since winning the 2010 Ensure Classic.

McDaniel, Jutanugarn lead Junior PGA Championship

Tyler McDaniel of Manchester, Ky., shot a 3-under 69 on Wednesday to take the second-round lead in the Junior PGA Championship, and defending champion Ariya Jutanugarn of Thailand had a 70 to remain on top in the girls' division.
