Diamante Cabo Journal found this interesting WSJ article. James Hookway reports that the Vietnamese are purchasing golf club memberships as investments. Prices for club memberships around Hanoi have risen from around $6,000 in 2004 to around $30,000. However Vietnamese officials do not look at golf as favorably. They see it as a distraction and harmful to national interest. For more read here:
